Enterprise
Koss
Koss (ENT-83)
Vulcan male. Koss was an architect, and was betrothed to T’Pol during childhood. Before T’Pol was assigned to the Enterprise NX-01, she and Koss had met only four times. Because marrying Koss would have forced T’Pol to leave her post, she broke the engagement in 2151.[1] T’Pol was pressured to marry Koss three years later, and did so in exchange for her mother, T’Les, regaining her teaching position at the Vulcan Science Academy.[2] The marriage was short-lived, however, as Koss released T’Pol from their marriage following the death of T’Les during the Syrannite incident in late 2154, acknowledging that the only reason T’Pol had married him was for her mother’s benefit, a reason which no longer existed.[3]

Klaang
Klaang (ENT-01-02)
Klaang, a Klingon courier, played a crucial role in the Enterprise NX-01‘s first mission and was responsible for the first contact between Klingons and Humans. As part of the Temporal Cold War, a Suliban faction known as the Cabal was used to foment chaos within the Klingon Empire, staging attacks to make it appear as if the Klingons were attacking each other. Klaang had obtained proof of this from a Suliban female named Sarin, and was on his way back to the High Council when his ship was shot down over Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The Enterprise was assigned to return Klaang to his homeworld, but he was kidnapped from the ship by the Suliban. Captain Jonathan Archer and his crew managed to learn the truth and save Klaang, successfully delivering him to Qo’noS. Once there, the High Council found the necessary proof of the conspiracy hidden in Klaang’s DNA.[1] Portrayed by Tommy “Tiny” Lister, Jr..

Keyla
Keyla (ENT-25)
Captain Jonathan Archer met the mysterious Keyla on a Risan vacation in 2152 when Porthos encountered her dog, Rhylo. Though Keyla seemed to be making romantic overtures toward Archer, she kept asking questions about his encounters with the Cabal. Later, she said that the Suliban murdered her entire family. A surreptitious bio-scan revealed that she was Tandaran, leading Archer to believe that she was possibly connected to Colonel Grat. When Archer confronted Keyla, she rendered him unconscious and left before he could ask her any more questions.[1]

Hayes
Major Hayes (ENT-53)
The commanding officer of the Military Assault Command Operations (MACO) officers assigned to the Enterprise NX-01 mission to the Delphic Expanse, Major Hayes had previously undergone lunar training. Despite outranking Lieutenant Malcolm Reed, Hayes would refer to him as “sir,” in deference to Reed’s position as the ship’s chief of security/tactical officer. Hayes clashed with Reed when the major suggested that Reed’s men were too valuable to take on a risky rescue mission.[1] Hayes later accompanied Captain Jonathan Archer on a landing party to a kemocite refinery, run by a Xindi Arboreal named Gralik Durr.[2] The conflict between Hayes and Reed came to a head in December 2153, when the two came to blows during a training session.[3] Several weeks later, Hayes assumed command of the Tactical station, then the bridge itself, when Archer came under the influence of a Xindi Insectoid hatchery.[4] Hayes was killed in action while leading a boarding party to a Xindi Insectoid ship to rescue Ensign Hoshi Sato in mid-February 2154.[5]
Portrayed by Stephen Culp.
