Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise must prevent the galaxy from disintegrating into full scale war.

The Klingons attack the Enterprise in response to alleged Federation assaults on Klingon vessels. Escaping with a promise of discovering the truth, Kirk and crew head to a secret rendezvous with a respected scientist. It seems that the Klingons aren’t the only race to have ships vanish, and it’s up to the Enterprise to uncover the truth.
