Gamma Quadrant

One quarter of the Milky Way Galaxy appearing to be located between 9 and 12 o’clock if the great plane of the galaxy was viewed as a clockface and the 6 o’clock position bisected the Sol System. The Gamma Quadrant remained inaccessible and unexplored until the discovery of the Bajoran Wormhole opened a stable gateway for commerce and exploration, eventually leading to contact with the Dominion, and the Dominion War was fought from 2373-2375.^[1]
