Constitution class (TOS-10)

The Constitution class^[1] Starship Eagle was the most decorated Starfleet vessel of its time, circa 2247-2268,^[3] and had an all-Andorian crew.^[4] In 2291, the Eagle was included in Operation Retrieve, a proposed rescue operation of Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy from Klingon hands. At the time, it was on a colony resupply mission.^[1]

The Constitution class Starship Eagle was commanded by Captain Botwin in 2260, and his first officer was Commander James T. Kirk.^[2]
