Borg Sphere
Sphere-shaped Borg vessel. In an attempt to assimilate the Earth of 2063, one such craft created a temporal vortex during a battle with Starfleet.[1] The U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 later stole a transwarp coil from a disabled sphere in the Delta Quadrant.[2]

Borg Scout
Borg Scout wreckage (TNG-223)
A much smaller vessel than the Borg cube, this cubical vessel was only 2.5 million metric tons in mass, and held a crew of five. On Stardate 45854.2, such a vessel was discovered by the crew of the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D on a remote moon in the Argolis Cluster.[1]

Borg Diamond
Borg Diamond (Legacy)
A diamond-shaped vessel holding the “lair” of the Borg Queen. In 2375, the Borg Queen vessel originating from the Borg Unicomplex traveled to Grid 532 to participate in the assimilation of Species 10026. While the Borg Queen vessel was not normally present at such events, ex-drone Seven of Nine was aboard and the Queen wished to refamiliarize her with assimilation procedures. The plan was to benefit from Seven’s experience as an individual to eventually assimilate Species 5618—Humans. The plan failed, however, as Seven refused to betray her species and she was rescued by Captain Janeway and others aboard the Delta Flyer. The Borg Queen vessel pursued the Delta Flyer through a transwarp conduit, but was destroyed when the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 collapsed the conduit with photon torpedoes.[1]

Borg Probe
A small oblong-shaped Borg vessel about half the size of an Intrepid (II) class Federation starship, with about the same amount of firepower. In 2375, a Borg probe confronted the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 in an attempt to assimilate the ship and its crew. Voyager fought back, and at one point during the battle the probe was forced to remodulate its shields. During this vulnerable moment, Voyager beamed a photon torpedo aboard the probe which detonated near the power matrix. The explosion caused a chain reaction which completely destroyed the vessel. The probe left behind eight kilotons of debris, from which Voyager salvaged a variety of equipment including two power nodes, 12 plasma conduits and what appeared to be an auto-regeneration unit made of some kind of lightweight polytrinic alloy. Also found was a servo-armature from a Medical Repair Drone, which included a laser scalpel, biomolecular scanner and micro-suture all rolled into one instrument, much to the excitement of Voyager‘s Doctor. A transwarp coil was recovered, but it had been intentionally damaged beyond repair by the Borg, who had fused its field regulator, per Borg protocol when a vessel was critically damaged. Also salvaged from the debris were a pair of data nodes, which contained tactical information that Voyager used to locate a disabled Borg scout ship and plan a “heist” of a working transwarp coil.[1]

Borg Cube
Borg Cube (VOY-168)
Borg Cube Interior (TNG-142)
A massive cube shaped spacecraft that was first encountered on Stardate 42762.2 near System J-25 in the Beta Quadrant by the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, thanks to Q. The Borg cube was one of the most formidable technologies known to the Federation in the late 24th century. Its lack of identifiable functional spaces, such as a bridge, engineering, or personnel quarters, revealed the hive-like Borg collective consciousness and its drones. It not only carried “smart” weaponry that adapted, but it could analyze an opponent’s weapons systems and adapt defenses within seconds.[1] On Stardate 43989.7, another Borg cube—sent to assimilate Earth and its technology—traveled to the Alpha Quadrant using a transwarp conduit to make their journey and was briefly led by Locutus, the assimilated Captain Jean-Luc Picard.[2] Another cube tried to assimilate Earth in 2373, but was destroyed by a concentrated barrage from a Starfleet armada. It ejected a smaller sphere which created a time vortex in an attempt to travel back in time and assimilate Earth in 2063, preventing First Contact between Humans and Vulcans.[3]

Bok’Nor
Bok’Nor (DS9-440)
Freighter of Cardassian registry. In 2370, the Bok’Nor was blown up at Deep Space Nine by the Maquis, resulting in the death of the 78 Cardassians aboard. The Maquis believed that it was carrying weapons to Cardassian colonies in the Demilitarized Zone.[1]
