Delos System
Delos (TNG-123)
Common name for at least two different star systems. One, long well-known in Federation circles, was home to a medical facility on its fourth planet, where Beverly Crusher interned in 2352.[2] Another more distant system included a yellow star with at least four planets, undergoing unusually large-scale magnetic field changes with accompanying solar flares circa Stardate 41650. Picard‘s crew visited the inhabited Ornara and Brekka in 2364, 200 years after the last contact by a Federation scout ship; one was on the verge of space flight, but neither had advanced much beyond that stage.[1]

Delios VII
Home of the Karis Tribe. This tribe’s shamans practiced a ritual that increased the electrical resistance of their skin to protect them from the plasma discharges of their sacred caves. Captain Janeway drew this analogy to Nechani monks while trying to figure out how to save Kes from injuries she sufferd in their temple.[1]

Delgoria
Planet where a sophisticated locking mechanism was manufactured. When Verad and his people took over Deep Space Nine, Odo was forced to stay in liquid form in a box held shut with a standard Delgorian locking mechanism. Quark was familiar with the lock’s vulnerability and was able to break it open.[1]

Dedestris
Delta Quadrant planet. Dedestris exported a very delicate fabric that was spun from the petals of a flower that bloomed only in moonlight. At a market on Sikaris, the material caught Captain Janeway‘s eye, and she let the Sikarians talk her into accepting a scarf made from it.[1]

Dayos IV
Planet near the Klingon and Federation spheres of influence (presumably in the Beta Quadrant), where Kang first met one of the Albino‘s discarded wives and learned of the outlaw murderer’s hideout after she died.[1]

Daran V
A Class-M Federation planet with a population of 3,724,000. In 2268, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 was sent to divert what was thought to be an asteroid on a collision course with the planet. The asteroid actually turned out to be the multigenerational spaceship Yonada, built 10,000 years earlier by the Fabrini to save their race before their sun went nova.[1]

Daled IV
Daled IV (TNG-136)
A planet inhabited by two factions of allasomorphs divided by civil war throughout their recorded history. The planet was locked in synchronous rotation—one rotation for each revolution around the Daled star—and the resultant all-night/all-day hemispheric split gave rise to the two disparate cultures. A child, Salia, was born of parents from both sides and spirited away soon after their deaths so she could be raised in safe seclusion and return at age 16 in hopes of bringing peace to the planet. The world had no formal contact with the Federation, but Starfleet ships served as Salia’s courier both ways. Daled IV also had at least three moons, the third an inhabited Class-D world.[1]

Dakala
The Eska‘s name for the rogue planet, where they hunted the shape-shifting wraiths in the mid-22nd century.[1] Located near Capella (Alpha Aurigae IV), about 42 light-years from Earth, in the Alpha Quadrant.[2]

Cardassia Minor
World that hosted a museum where Quark‘s cousin Kono once stole bone carving artifacts before travelling to Deep Space Nine circa Stardate 47603 to get help fencing them.[1]
