Andor class
Andor class (FASA-2302)
The Andor class was the only operational missile cruiser in Starfleet in the late 23rd century. These unique vessels gained the respect and admiration of their crews because of their handling characteristics and offensive capabilities. The overall design came from Andorian teams contracted to create a cruiser with photon torpedoes as its main weapon. These ships so captured the heart and spirit of the Andorians that the majority were crewed solely by them. All were named for Andorian military leaders. The Andor class formed the core of all squadrons in the famed “Blue Fleet,” and was an integral part of front line forces for Starfleet.[1]

Akira class (ST-08)
The Akira class was a midsize starship with heavy armament, first commissioned in 2265.[2] The warp pylons were swept downward and were attached to two catamaran-like secondary hulls, which were connected to the dorsal side of the primary hull. An elevated weapons module was located between the two secondary hulls. The Akira class had two shuttlebay doors at the aft and one central door at the fore end of the saucer.[1]

U.S.S. Niwen NCC-2306
Chandley class (FASA)
Chandley class (FASA-2217)
The Chandley class Starship Niwen was named for Admiral Abel Niwen, who commanded the Sixth Fleet of the old United Nations Space Force when first contact was made between Earth and Tellar. At the time, a single Tellarite exploratory warship entered the Sol system, declaring it to have been annexed. Instead of attempting to destroy the ship, Niwen elected to diplomatically welcome the it, while warning that any hostile action would be reciprocated. The Tellarite commander abruptly accepted the offer of friendship and implied military alliance, beginning a long and successful relationship between Earth and Tellar, which eventually resulted in Tellar becoming a founding member of the United Federation of Planets. Admiral Niwen eventually retired from the service to serve as Earth‘s first ambassador to Tellar.[1]

U.S.S. Monson NCC-2392
Chandley class (FASA)
Chandley class (FASA-2217)
While on a fact-finding mission within the Triangle, the Chandley class Monson was overtaken by four Klingon K-23 class destroyers. Eventually, two closed on the Monson and declared she had entered Klingon space, demanding she heave to and prepare to be boarded. The Monson‘s captain immediately raised shields and warned the Klingons off. The Klingons attacked, and the Monson returned fire. The Monson‘s aft torpedoes hit the lead Klingon ship’s bridge, causing it to veer off course and into the path of the other vessels, whose fire crippled the damaged ship. Seeing this as an ill omen, the remaining Klingon vessels departed the area, leaving the crippled ship behind. The Monson approached the Klingon ship, accepted its surrender, and beamed aboard two marine platoons before the ship exploded, killing all aboard.[1]

U.S.S. Hanson NCC-2309
Chandley class (FASA-2217)
The first combat experience of any Chandley class vessel was considered a total sucess. While patrolling in the Gorn Sector, the Starship Hanson received a distress call from a commercial freighter stating it was under attack by unknown vessels. Upon reaching the freighter’s coordinates, the Hanson encountered two Gorn cruisers engaged in a boarding action against a Liberty class freighter. When ordered to withdraw, the Gorn ships raised shields and opened fire. The Hanson made short work of the Gorn vessels, but the Marine boarding parties found their task difficult at best, encountering Gorn marines who refused to give ground easily.[1]
