Laser Pistol

Laser Pistol (TOS-00)

Energy weapon used by the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 during an encounter with the Talosians in the 2250s. Capable of exploding solid rock almost instantly after the beam strikes.[1] It is possible that the term “laser pistol” was simply a slang designation for a different type of energy weapon, such as a phaser, as it did not behave like a laser beam.

Vina’s true appearance (TOS-00)

Human. An adult crewmember aboard the S.S. Columbia when it crashed on Talos IV, Vina was the ship’s only survivor. Rescued by the Talosians, her body was all but destroyed, and they had no guide on how to rebuild it. Everything still worked, but it wasn’t all in the right places, so she had an extremely disfigured appearance. She stayed on Talos IV with the Talosians, who used their telepathic abilities to give her the illusion of a normal, young body, as well as an illusion of U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Captain Christopher Pike to accompany her.[1]

Portrayed by Susan Oliver.
