Apgar, Nel
Nel Apgar (TNG-162)
Tanugan scientist who worked on development of a Krieger Wave converter on a science station in orbit around Tanuga IV. Apgar was killed under suspicious circumstances in the explosion of the science station in 2366. Commander William Riker, first officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D, was implicated in the case, but was eventually cleared when a holodeck re-creation of the incident provided convincing evidence that Apgar himself was responsible for the fatal explosion, apparently while trying to kill Riker.[1]
Portrayed by Mark Margolis.

Leader of the tribal council of the Native American colonists on planet Dorvan V. Anthwara’s grandfather, Katowa, had led this band from Earth in the 2170s, in search of a new home among the stars. The group wandered for nearly two centuries, searching for a suitable home, until Anthwara led his group to Dorvan V in 2350. When he arrived, the mountains, the rivers, and the sky welcomed him. He refused to be moved from what he knew was his sacred land, despite pressure from the Federation government in 2370. Anthwara was able to convince both the Federation and the Cardassian Union that his people should be allowed to remain on Dorvan V under Cardassian jurisdiction.[1]

Annorax
Annorax (VOY-176)
Krenim scientist who worked to develop a temporal weapon of mass destruction. In an alternate timeline, Annorax was one of the greatest mass murderers in the galaxy, rivaling even the Borg Collective. In this alternate timeline, Annorax successfully developed the Krenim temporal weapon ship and used it against the Rilnar, enemies of the Krenim. Unfortunately, Annorax had failed to adequately consider the complexities of temporal mechanics. The elimination of the Rilnar from history left his people susceptible to a deadly disease that left some fifty million Krenim dead, including his beloved wife. Annorax spent the next 200 years using his temporal weapon, trying to restore his people’s original timeline, but each use brought further unpredicted side effects. In the process, he destroyed thousands of worlds, eliminating untold trillions of innocent lives from history, but he was never able to entirely restore his people.[1] Annorax was reunited with his wife when his ship was attacked by the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656, causing a temporal incursion that removed the Krenim ship from the timeline, undoing all the changes to history it had wrought.[2]
Portrayed by Kurtwood Smith.

Anna
Anna survived the crash of a Terellian cargo freighter on a planet near the Lyarran homeworld in 2363. Anna kept logs of her experiences following the crash, including details of a man who also crashed on the planet. She apparently nursed him back to health, and the two of them fell in love. Her logs would later be discovered by the Lyarrans; the logs were their first contact with Humans. Curious about the many emotions that Anna detailed in her logs, the Lyarran Ambassador Voval took her form and tried to evoke a similar romantic response from Captain Jean-Luc Picard.[1]
Portrayed by Barbara Williams.

To accomplish this, she entered a meditative state.[1]
Portrayed by Donna Murphy.
