Pavel Chekov (ST-11)
Human. Pavel Andreievich Chekov was born in 2241 (four years earlier than his counterpart in the Prime timeline). At seventeen years of age in 2258, “Russian whiz kid” Pavel Chekov found himself thrust into a crisis when he and hundreds of other Starfleet Academy cadets were given brevet ranks and assigned to starship duty to aid in the response to an emergency on Vulcan, which was under attack by Nero. Chekov, assigned as navigator aboard the newly-constructed U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 during the crisis, soon played an instrumental role in the crisis: his skill with the transporter system saved the lives of James T. Kirk and Hikaru Sulu, and he was able to calculate a precise enough course to allow the Enterprise to exit warp within the atmosphere of Saturn‘s moon Titan, undetected from enemy sensors. When the situation had been resolved, and in recognition of his role in sparing Earth from the destruction wrought on Vulcan, Chekov was breveted to Ensign and permanently assigned to the Enterprise under the newly-promoted Captain Kirk.[1]

On Stardate 64333.4, the life of the Romulan miner named Nero changed forever, when the Hobus star began to erupt into a supernova.[1] Nero, commanding the mining vessel Narada, was overseeing a mining survey of the system, and was forced to flee before his ship was destroyed in the supernova’s initial blast.[1]

Site ripping
I would like to ask all visitors to this site to please refrain from the use of site-ripping software. There was an incident today where a single user accessed more than 1000 pages over the course of about 90 minutes, and as a result ate up a large portion of the site’s bandwidth allotment for the month. I was forced to ban that individual’s IP address in order to halt the ongoing site rip and preserve enough bandwidth for regular visitors to continue viewing the site uninterrupted through the rest of the month.
I love Star Trek, and have been creating this site as a comprehensive, reliable, well-researched and well-documented reference source; I want to keep it available to the public, but further attacks like that could seriously impinge on my ability to keep the site online.

Triaxian silk
This elegant type of textile was offered to T’Pol by a trader named D’Marr in exchange for a protein resequencer. “Trip” Tucker noted that T’Pol would look good in Triaxian silk.[1]
Beresium ore
The asteroid that hit the Human Terra Nova colony contained this metal. The thermo-shock of the impact created the “poison rain” that drove the surviving colonists underground.[1]
