Voyager desperately needs engineering repairs, so the crew heads to the planet Sardalia. The inhabitants seem extra friendly and willing to help. While B’Elanna frustrates herself with the incompetent help from the Sardalians, the rest of the crew enjoys shore leave. Of course, a deadly secret hides in the shadows and just as Janeway starts to suspect something amiss, Paris and Kim vanish.
