The crew of the Enterprise meets the X-Men! On the planet Xhaldia, the inhabitants discover a society threatened when many of them begin exhibiting strange mutant powers. Trapped in the future, the X-Men are willing to help resolve the sitution on the planet. After all, the mutants are used to dealing with their own kind. But the threat is much bigger than they realize. Now Picard must not only save the Federation, he must also get the X-Men back to their proper time!
