Friendship 1

Launched from Earth in 2167, the Friendship 1 probe had traveled to the Delta Quadrant by the late 24th century. The U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656, which was also in the Delta Quadrant in 2377, discovered that the probe had crashed on an M-class world, where the inhabitants were nearly wiped out from radiation released upon its arrival.^[1]
