U.S.S. Daedalus

Prototype of the Daedalus class.^[1] The Daedalus was launched in 2140, but was destroyed soon thereafter while testing an experimental ion drive system developed in competition with Henry Archer‘s Warp 5 Complex.^[2]

Rather than being destroyed upon launch, the Daedalus was propelled to a distant part of space. More than a decade later, the survivors of ship’s crew were found by the Enterprise NX-01, which had been accidentally transported over from the Prime timeline.^{[2, 3]}
