Malurians
Malurian (ENT-09)
In 2151, the Malurians, a warp-capable species from the planet Maluria,[1] secretly mined the Akaali homeworld for veridium.[2] In 2267, the planet was cleansed of all life by Nomad,[1] nearly driving the Malurians into extinction,[4] save for a handful of survivors who were off-world at the time.[3]

Zeons
Humanoids from the outermost world in the M43 Alpha system. The end of the Zeon race nearly occured in 2267 when the interference of Federation cultural observer John Gill caused Ekos to mimic the 1930’s Human culture of Nazi Germany and pursue a campaign of genocide against the Zeons. Only the intervention of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 stopped this potential mass murder. The Zeons were almost indistinguishable from Terrans.[1]

Xyrillians
Xyrillian female (ENT-05)
Xyrillian male (ENT-05)
Alpha Quadrant species. The Xyrillians’ most distinctive physical characteristic was their colorful dermal plating. The Xyrillian ship encountered by the Enterprise NX-01 in 2151 had a bioluminescent enviroment, and an interesting grass that grew on the ship walls. This was actually food, and released a vapor necessary for metabolization. Though the Xyrillians required technical assistance from the Humans, they were quite advanced in some areas, and already had possession of holodeck technology. The Xyrillian Ah’len demonstrated this technology for Trip Tucker. Xyrillian reproduction involved placing the female’s genetic material into a male host.[1]

Xindi Insectoid (ENT-53)
Xindi Primate (ENT-53)
Xindi Reptilian (ENT-53)
The Xindi originated from a planet in the region once known as the Delphic Expanse. In 2153, the Xindi attacked Earth with a deadly probe, cutting a swath from Florida to Venezuela. They did this because they were told that their homeworld would be destroyed by Humans in 400 years. The Xindi were at work on a more powerful weapon, and intended on completely destroying Earth.[1]

Tesnians
The Tesnians required six hours of boron gas per day in order to survive. While attempting to dock with the Enterprise NX-01, a Tesnian ship collided with the Enterprise and crashed into an asteroid. Malcolm Reed and Trip Tucker discovered the wreckage and believed that the Enterprise itself had been destroyed. The Enterprise, meanwhile, was returning the passengers of the crashed ship to their homeworld of Tesnia.[1]
