Ayala

Ayala (VOY-101-102)
Ayala (VOY-101-102)

Ayala was a Human male and a former member of the Maquis. He first boarded the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 with Chakotay and Tuvok shortly after both Voyager and the Maquis were stranded in the Delta Quadrant.[1] After the Maquis crew was integrated into Voyager, Ayala became a tactical officer, and occasionally filled in for Tuvok on the bridge.[1, 2, 3, 6, 7] Ayala was temporarily left in command of Voyager when the ship encountered a distortion ring.[3] Ayala missed his sons, who were back in the Alpha Quadrant.[8] Ayala introduced the “Insurrection Alpha” holodeck program to Harry Kim in 2373.[12] A few months later, he was promoted to lieutenant.[14] Portrayed by Tarik Ergin.

Avik

In 2372, Commander Avik mistook Lieutenant Tom Paris of the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 for a thief who had stolen a prototype coaxial warp drive starship from Benthos IV. When the stolen ship entered the Kotaba Expanse with Paris aboard, Avik attempted to take him into custody.[1]

Augris

In 2372, the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 visited a planet controlled by the Mokra and during an away mission, crew members Lieutenant Tuvok and Lieutenant B’Elanna Torres were arrested by Mokra agents and were questioned by Augris. He was killed in a struggle with Caylem during Captain Kathryn Janeway‘s attempt to rescue her officers from custody.[1] Portrayed by Alan Scarfe.

Ashmore (male)

A Human male, Ensign Ashmore worked in engineering aboard the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 under Lieutenant B’Elanna Torres.[1] Ashmore once asked Neelix for macaroni and cheese “comfort food,” and when Neelix attempted to make cheese to accomodate him, the Talaxian inadvertently infected some of the ship’s vital bioneural gel packs with bacteria.[1] Ashmore was frequently visible around the ship,[2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10] and was among the crew members traumatized by an alien beacon in 2375.[11] Ashmore’s bio-mimetic duplicate from the Demon planet was present at the wedding of Torres and Tom Paris‘ bio-mimetic duplicates, and died when the ship and crew lost molecular cohesion in 2374.[9] Portrayed by David Keith Anderson.

Arturis

Like many of his people, who were native to the Delta Quadrant, Arturis was a gifted linguist. When his people were assimilated by the Borg in 2374, Arturis reasoned that the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656‘s aid to the Borg against Species 8472 was responsible. He believed that had Voyager not so allied themselves, the Borg would have been defeated by Species 8472, and his people would not have been assimilated. Seeking revenge, Arturis created an elaborate trap to convince the Voyager crew that Starfleet had sent an advanced starship, the U.S.S. Dauntless NX-01A, to rescue them. In fact, there was no Federation Starship Dauntless; the vessel was a fake onto which Arturis hoped to trap the Voyager crew so that they could be sent into Borg space to be assimilated. The Voyager crew discovered the deception in time to escape Arturis’ trap, but Arturis himself was assimilated when his ship entered Borg space.[1] Portrayed by Ray Wise.

Arridor

Arridor (TNG-156)

Arridor (VOY-144)

Member of a Ferengi delegation sent to negotiate for the rights to the Barzan wormhole in 2366. Dr. Arridor was responsible for the distillation of a Ferengi pyrocyte which DaiMon Goss used to poison the Federation ambassador, Dr. Mendoza. Dr. Arridor was one of the crew of a Ferengi pod sent to investigate the Barzan wormhole; he was lost in the distant Delta Quadrant when one terminus of the wormhole changed location unexpectedly.[1] Arridor and Kol, the shuttle’s other occupant, crash landed on the Takarian homeworld and assumed the role of the Great Sages from Takarian mythology. In 2373, the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656, also stranded in the Delta Quadrant, happened upon the planet and forced Arridor and Kol to leave. When they stole a shuttle and attempted to return to the Takarian planet, their shuttle was pulled into the Barzan wormhole by a gravitational eddy. Their actions knocked the wormhole off its subspace axis so that both of its endpoints now jumped around erratically. The fate of Arridor, Kol and their stolen shuttle remains unknown.[2] Portrayed by Dan Shor.

Archer, Valerie

Commander Archer, whose parents were both starship officers, served at Starfleet Headquarters in 2375. A duplicate of Archer was part of a training facility created by Species 8472 in the Delta Quadrant in preparation for an intelligence-gathering program against the Federation. The replica of Archer, who was actually an 8472 individual in disguise, befriended Chakotay, finding him attractive despite the enormous differences in their species.[1]

Portrayed by Kate Vernon.
