I’ve written an article concerning the multiple variant versions of the Mirror Universe encountered over the decades, Through a Glass Darkly: Analysis of the Multiple “Mirror Universes.” I intend for this to be the first of a series of articles that will examine in detail various aspects of the Star Trek universe (or multiverse, as the case may be).

Addendum: Summary pages have been completed for all 29 episodes of the first season of Star Trek.

Today I’ve added/updated another 83 pages in the Library Computer section, and I’ve also added a number of new images to go with several of those pages (as well as fixes for some of the pictures that were up that weren’t as high quality as they could have been). Google has removed the invalid links for the site search from their index, however it will take some more time before more of the site becomes available to search through with that function; at the moment, only a handful of pages will show up when a search is performed. It’s a start, though, and in time that will change.

In the past week, I’ve updated or added 209 pages to the Library Computer section, 185 pages to the Mission Logs section, 16 to the Bibliography, 3 to Chronology, and 4 miscellaneous pages. I have a total of 3949 pages linked in, of which 2120 have content; the other 1829 are stubs that I am working to fill, and more stubs are added as new Mission Logs entries reveal new entries for the Library Computer. Nearly 20% of the site’s current content has been added in the past seven days alone. My focus right now is the Mission Logs section; once those are completed, the Library Computer entries will flow more naturally from there, and I’ll also be able to return some of my attention to the Chronology section.

Addendum: Since making this post, I’ve added/updated an additional 117 pages to the Mission Logs section and 1 to the Library Computer section, bringing the total number of pages added/updated in the past week to 535; 2194 pages now have content, leaving 1755 stubs.

Update 14 Aug 2008

I’ve added a ton of entries to the Mission Logs section. (57 of them!) I’ve also begun a memorial page for those among the cast and crew producing the various incarnations of Star Trek who have fallen over the years. The list has only just been created, and is thus not yet complete, but I’ll be adding to it as time goes on to correct that.

I’ve added a search function to the site via the Google Custom Search API. Search boxes are now on the bottom of every page. Unfortunately, for the moment, all the links generated by Google have the old /trekipedia/ directory and are no longer valid. I’ve also generated a Sitemap XML file to aid any robots that come to visit in the future with indexing the site. I’ve also submitted the list to Google directly and, hopefully, Google should have the links updated soon.
