Andromeda Galaxy

Nearest neighboring galaxy to the Milky Way, about one million light years away. Home to many forms of life, including the intelligent spacefaring species known as the Kelvans. Kelvan scientists believed that increasing levels of radiation would render it uninhabitable within ten millennia of the 23rd century.[1]

Andoria

Andorian Surface (ENT-90)

Andoria was an icy moon orbiting a ringed gas giant[5] in the Procyon System.[6] In the 22nd century, the temperature rose above the freezing point of water only a few weeks at a time in some zones, which was considered a heat wave. Andorian cities were built underground to take advantage of geothermal energy.[5]

The Andorian homeworld,[4] sometimes called “Andor,”[2] was a longtime member of the Federation whose inhabitants were distinguished by their blue skin, white hair and antennae.[1] The planet was also host to an Andorian subspecies called the Aenar, who lived in isolation from the rest of their world. The albino Aenar were blind but strongly telepathic.[5] Also native to the planet were ice borers[5] and flying mammals called redbats.[3]

Andevian II

Lwaxana Troi felt the fourth moon orbiting Andevian II to be an ideal site for a romantic picnic, and reserved a holosuite at Quark’s on Deep Space Nine so that she could have such a picnic with Odo, although she negelected to ask him first.[1]

Ameb

An astronomical sight—probably a star—visible to the un-aided human eye from a point somewhere between ‘audet IX and Rachelis. It was one of three objects Wesley Crusher matter-of-factly told Guinan he saw as he stared out Ten-Forward’s observation window.[1]
