Eris
Eris (DS9-446)
Dominion agent. Eris, a Vorta, encountered Commander Benjamin Sisko on a planet in the Gamma Quadrant in 2370. Eris posed as a fugitive from the Jem’Hadar and was held by a small group of Jem’Hadar soldiers. When Sisko and his companion, Quark, were also captured, she helped them escape. Upon their return to station Deep Space 9, Eris was found to be a spy, but she escaped from the station before she could be questioned further.[1]

Epran
Inhabitant of a planet in the Teplan system located in the Gamma Quadrant. Epran died in 2372 from a deadly disease known as the blight while under the care of Dr. Julian Bashir.[1]

Entek
In 2371, Entek was in charge of the ruse to expose Legate Ghemor as a member of the Cardassian underground movement. He questioned Kira Nerys after she had been surgically altered to pass as Cardassian. Entek was killed by Garak when Deep Space Nine personnel entered Cardassian space to rescue Kira.[1]

Emi
Humanoid entrepreneur. In 2371, Emi wanted to buy some self-sealing stem bolts from Quark, but Grand Nagus Zek spoiled the deal by telling Emi where she could obtain the bolts at wholesale prices.[1]

Ekoria
Inhabitant of a planet in the Teplan system located in the Gamma Quadrant. Like all on her planet, Ekoria was infected with a deadly disease known as the blight. Ekoria’s husband was an artist. Before his death in 2371, he painted a mural on a city building depicting life in happier and healthier times, before the blight devastated Teplan civilization. In 2372, Dr. Julian Bashir saved the life of her unborn child by developing a vaccine that was effective if administered before birth. Ekoria died shortly following childbirth.[1]

Dax, Ezri
Ezri Dax (DS9-551)
Ezri Dax served as a counselor aboard Deep Space Nine, prior to becoming first officer of the Defiant. Ezri was a Trill, joined to the Dax symbiont.[21] Dax, formerly Ezri Tigan, was born on New Sydney. Her mother was a successful mining magnate, and she and Ezri disagreed on many occasions. Her father was often absent—Ezri believed it was because he couldn’t bear to be around his wife. Ezri’s closest family member was her brother, Norvo, while her older brother, Janel, was someone she looked up to. Ezri dreamed constantly of ways to escape her family, and eventually managed to do so by joining Starfleet.[9]
Carson, Sarita
Ensign Sarita Carson was stationed on the bridge of the U.S.S. Defiant NX-74205 when the ship came under Jem’Hadar attack during a trade conference with the Karemma.[1]

Burke
Senior Chief Petty Officer Burke fought and died on Ajilon Prime in 2373 during a skirmish with the Klingons. Burke gave his life so that the rest of his squad could escape up the ramp of a hopper.[1]

Boq’ta
Bolian Starfleet engineer. Crewman Boq’ta was part of a salvage team sent from Deep Space Nine to the abandoned Cardassian station Empok Nor. Boq’ta was killed at Empok Nor by a Cardassian soldier who was under the influence of a powerful psychotropic drug.[1] Portrayed by Andy Milder.

Benteen, Erika
Erika Benteen (DS9-483)
Commander Erika Benteen served at Starfleet Command as an adjutant to Admiral Leyton in 2372. Around Stardate 49170, Leyton promoted Benteen to the rank of captain and assigned her to command the U.S.S. Lakota NCC-42768.[1] Although Benteen was loyal to Leyton and supported his attempted coup of the Earth government, she refused to obey an order from Leyton to destroy the U.S.S. Defiant NX-74205.[2]
