Soval (ENT-41)

Vulcan ambassador to Earth. Soval has a somewhat stuffy, condescending attitude toward Humans, which caused problems for both Admiral Forrest and Captain Archer. As a child, Archer referred to him as “Ambassador Pointy.”[1] Soval objected to Archer taking command of the Enterprise NX-01,[1] and also blamed Archer for the destruction of the P’Jem monastery.[2]

Silik

Silik (ENT-01-02)
Silik (ENT-01-02)

Silik was a high-ranking Suliban soldier fighting on the 22nd-century front of the Temporal Cold War, taking orders from a mysterious humanoid from the future in exchange for genetic enhancements for himself and fellow members of the Suliban Cabal. These enhancements included shapeshifting and chameleonic abilities as well as enhanced senses, giving Silik a distinct advantage over those he fought, such as Jonathan Archer from the Earth ship Enterprise NX-01. Silik first crossed paths with Archer in 2151 when he was ordered to prevent the Enterprise from reaching the Klingon homeworld, Qo’noS, with Klaang, a courier who held information that would undermine efforts of the Cabal to bring civil war to the Klingon Empire. Silik succeeded in kidnapping Klaang from the starship, but he was unable to ascertain from the Klingon what information he received from ex-Cabal member Sarin. To find more clues, he traveled to Rigel X, where he again encountered the Enterprise crew, and, in the ensuing struggle, he killed Sarin. Later, Archer and his people tracked down the Suliban Helix where Silik was based and retook Klaang. Silik faced off with Archer in the Helix’s Temporal Chamber, where Silik received orders from the future, and revealed that his people didn’t share Humanity‘s patience with natural selection, essentially confirming that his enhancements were payment for pitting the Klingons against each other. Silik tried to kill Archer at that time, knowing it would have changed history, but Archer managed to escape with the help of his crew.[1]

Seven of Nine (Alternate)

V163 Timeline

Seven of Nine (VOY-169)
Seven of Nine (VOY-169)

Seven of Nine was not present when Kes experienced the “Year of Hell” and its aftermath in this timeline. The U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 encountered the Krenim more than three months earlier in this timeline (Stardate 50973)[1] than in the Prime timeline (Stardate 51252.3),[2] suggesting that Voyager‘s encounter with the Borg and the Undine (aka Species 8472) (which occurred on Stardate 50984.3)[2] may not have happened in this reality; as a result, Seven of Nine was likely never liberated from the Collective by Voyager.[1]

Assimilated at the age of six, Seven of Nine spent most of her life as a Borg drone until she encountered the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656. The former Borg drone, Seven of Nine, was born a human female named Annika Hansen.[3] Her parents, Magnus and Erin, were citizens of the United Federation of Planets; they were famously unconventional scientists and had a reputation for radical methods. They developed an interest in the Borg years before the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D made contact with them, and applied for permission to study the biomechanical species in the early 2350s.[17]

Hoshi Sato mutated into a Loque’eque (ENT-55)

Whereas other crew members were chomping at the bit for alien contact and to explore strange new worlds, Hoshi was gradually becoming accustomed to the challenges, unusual experiences and potential dangers of space exploration. Still, her courage and confidence grew over the Enterprise NX-01‘s voyage. Beginning with her very first mission, Hoshi discovered that being a linguist involved quick thinking on one’s feet in situations where the safety of the crew was at stake. When the Klingon courier Klaang regained consciousness aboard the Enterprise en route to the Klingon homeworld of Qo’noS, it was her job to not only glean any information that might help the mission, but to calm him down and let him know he was not among enemies. Later, once Klaang was rescued from the Suliban and returned to Qo’noS, Hoshi was able to facilitate enough communication between the Klingons and Captain Archer to complete the mission without incident.[1]
