Atkins, Doris
Atkins was serving as a yeoman aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 when a landing party visiting an experimental colony on Gamma Hydra IV contracted a deadly radiation sickness, causing them to age rapidly. Atkins had remained on the ship, but her loyalty was tested when she was called to testify against Kirk’s competency after his hyperaccelerated aging led him to make mistakes and questionable command decisions.[1] Portrayed by Carolyn Nelson.
