Seven of Nine (Alternate)

V163 Timeline

Seven of Nine (VOY-169)

Seven of Nine was not present when Kes experienced the “Year of Hell” and its aftermath in this timeline. The U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 encountered the Krenim more than three months earlier in this timeline (Stardate 50973)[1] than in the Prime timeline (Stardate 51252.3),[2] suggesting that Voyager‘s encounter with the Borg and the Undine (aka Species 8472) (which occurred on Stardate 50984.3)[2] may not have happened in this reality; as a result, Seven of Nine was likely never liberated from the Collective by Voyager.[1]

When Voyager attempted to return to the Alpha Quadrant with Slipstream drive technology acquired from Arturis, the ship crashed on an ice planet in the Beta Quadrant, killing everyone aboard, including Seven of Nine. Harry Kim and Chakotay, who were aboard the Delta Flyer, survived; they found the crash site 15 years later and used Seven’s remains to send a message back in time, preventing the crash and altering the timeline.[3]

On Stardate 52861.274, Voyager was destroyed by a temporal disruptor planted by an incarnation of Captain Braxton suffering from temporal psychosis. Seven was transported from Voyager immediately prior to the explosion by the U.S.S. Relativity NCV-474439-G and sent through time in an effort to prevent the ship’s destruction. Multiple attempts resulted in her death, but an earlier version of her was once again retrieved, and later merged with her companion in the Prime timeline after the ship’s destruction was averted.[4]

V271 Timeline

Seven of Nine married Chakotay, and died in his arms in 2380 after being gravely wounded on an away mission.[5]

Portrayed by Jeri Ryan.
